Yew trees are among the rarest trees in Europe and are under protection. Particularly larger trees are di cult to obtain. Yew wood is only available when the trees fall due to storm damage. The wood for this table originates from England.
As yew trunks are grown very wild, it takes a long time to choose the right wood. So each table surface becomes a unique piece. This also applies to the legs of the table: they are hand-turned and only transferred with a sense of proportion so that no groove pattern is the same as any other.
